Take your Animal Flow practice to a higher level of understanding at the Level 2 from November 4-5, 2023. The two-day event is from 9:00am to 6:00pm on Saturday and Sunday. It will be hosted at Aspria Royal La Rasante in Brussels. This workshop will be taught in English (with French translation), by Master Instructor Richard Scrivener. The Level 2 workshop is open to anyone who has taken Level 1.

Amenez votre pratique Animal Flow à un niveau supérieur de compréhension au niveau 2 du 4 au 5 novembre 2023. L’événement de deux jours se déroule de 9h00 à 18h00 le samedi et le dimanche. Il sera hébergé à l’Aspria Royal La Rasante à Bruxelles. Cet atelier sera enseigné en anglais (avec traduction en français), par le maître instructeur Richard Scrivener. L’atelier de niveau 2 est ouvert à toute personne ayant suivi le niveau 1.

ABOUT LEVEL 2

Building upon the strong foundations learned in Level 1, Level 2 teaches 10 more new moves, as well as progressions for hand balancing. You’ll delve into more advanced concepts like energy transfers, tempo changes and using animal locomotion in flows, while engaging in intermediate level flow design. Participants will learn how to successfully perform the Level 2 exercises, as well as how to correctly integrate the movements with Level 1 to create extended Flows with an increased degree of complexity and intensity. Participants also learn how to instruct the movements and incorporate them into a training program. Emphasis is placed on understanding how the Level 2 movements train the fascial slings of the body; understanding the role of dissipating force, fluidity, and leverage in the advanced movements; and understanding how to instruct a range of progressive drills and conditioning exercises that form the introduction to hand balancing practice.

The full-day agenda includes:

• Review of key Level 1 moves
• Intro to Hand Balancing: Tuck Balance Progressions
• New Transitions: Reaching Underswitch; Reaching Underswitch to Deep Ape; Scorpion Sweeps; Roll Throughs; and Crocodile Rolls, Pop Switches and Pop Outs;
• New Traveling forms: Bear, Leopard, Crocodile;
• Using traveling forms as a “link” for switches and transitions;
• How and why to introduce tempo change and energy redirects into a flow;
• Intermediate flow design

Level 2 Continuing Education

Participants are eligible to receive Continuing Education credits from National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) – .9 CE; American Fitness Association of America (AFAA) – 9 CEUs; American Council on Exercise (ACE) – 1 CEC.

ELIGIBILITY

To enroll in Level 2, you must have already taken the Level 1 workshop at least 30 days prior to the date of the L2 workshop. While we strongly recommend that you complete your Level 1 certification prior to the workshop, you may still enroll even if you have not fully completed the test process to become a Certified Instructor. Contact us if you still need to submit your videos but want to enroll in L2. We will make arrangements with you to ensure you can complete the Level 1 test out after the Level 2 workshop.

Note that while we do not require that you have completed certification, you MUST be up-to-date with your L1 practice and be very familiar with the moves. L2 is a long, frustrating day if you haven’t internalized the L1 moves.

INSTRUCTOR

This workshop will be taught by Master Instructor Richard Scrivener. Rich will teach in English, with French translation.

The event will be hosted at the beautiful Aspria Royal La Rasante in Brussels.
The workshop will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 6pm.

Cost and Payment Plan Options:

• Regular cost for the Level 1 Workshop is $695 USD. Early bird pricing $595 available until September 1st. ALL PRICES ARE IN USD. If you are paying in a foreign currency, the conversion is done automatically at checkout.
• Payment plans available: You can register with a 50% deposit. Payment plan option available until October 14th. All balances are due 2 weeks prior to the workshop, by October 21st. Note that we do not collect credit card information and thus cannot automatically rebill you; you will need to click on the balance payment email to make the second payment.

CERTIFICATION

To become a Level 2 Certified Instructor, you will need to submit your Level 2 certification test on video 30 – 90 days after the workshop. Read about CERTIFICATIONS HERE.

Cancellations and Refunds

If you need to cancel your workshop or other event registration, you may be eligible for a partial refund, depending upon length of time to the event, according to the following terms. Note that we schedule travel and instructor time based on the number of registrations several months in advance, so we cannot offer full refunds if you must cancel.

If you must cancel due to a conflict, emergency (including but not limited to having COVID), or other reason, you have the option of transferring your registration to a future online or in-person event.
If you are requesting a cash refund, the amount of refund is dependent on the length of time until the event. For registrations that have “paid in full” (early registration or regular registration), refunds are made minus a $15 processing fee, according to the following schedule: 60 days or more until event: 100%; 45-60 days 75%; 30-45 days: 50%; 15-29 days: 25%; two weeks or less until event: $0. Requests for cash refunds must be made within two weeks of your cancellation. Otherwise, you will be provided with the full transfer credit described above.
Otherwise, you will be provided with a transfer credit for a future workshop (credit expires within 1 year). There is a $75 transfer fee. Anyone who cancels within 1 week of the workshop, under any circumstances, will automatically fall under this transfer category. No exceptions.
For registration deposits, no refunds are provided within 90 days of the event.
It is allowable for you to transfer your registration to somebody else, although it is your responsibility to identify the individual and make any financial arrangements directly with them.
If an event is cancelled by GBT for any reason, a full refund (with no processing fee) shall be provided.
There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this refund policy.

À PROPOS DU NIVEAU 2

Le niveau 2 s’appuie sur les bases solides établies au niveau 1. La formation comprend 10 mouvements supplémentaires, l’incorporation des « Traveling Forms » dans les Flows ainsi que des évaluations et des progressions pour entraîner l’équilibre sur les mains. Vous apprendrez également des concepts plus avancés tels que les transferts d’énergie et les changements de tempo pour développer des conceptions de Flow de niveau intermédiaire. Les participants apprendront à réussir les mouvements de niveau 2 tout en les intégrant correctement aux mouvements de niveau 1 pour créer des Flows plus longs et plus complexes. Les participants apprendront également comment enseigner les mouvements aux clients et les intégrer dans un programme d’entraînement y compris les exercice progressifs de conditionnement du « Tuck Balance ». L’accent est mis sur la compréhension de la façon dont les mouvements de niveau 2 entraînent les lignes fasciales du corps. Cela inclut son rôle dans la dissipation de la force et la création de fluidité dans les mouvements avancés.

Formation continue niveau 2

Nous prendrons des dispositions avec vous pour nous assurer que vous pouvez soumettre le test de L1 après la formation de L2.

Bien que nous ne vous demandions pas encore d’avoir terminé le processus de certification L1, vous DEVEZ être à jour dans votre pratique L1. Si vous ne vous êtes pas suffisamment entraîné, L2 sera pour vous une formation longue et frustrante.

INSTRUCTEUR

La formation aura lieu le 4 et 5 novembre de 9h à 18h chaque jour au magnifique Aspria Royal La Rasante à Bruxelles.

L’atelier aura lieu le samedi et le dimanche de 9h à 18h.

Options de coût et de plan de paiement:

• Le prix régulier pour la formation de niveau 1 est de 695 USD. Jusqu’au 1er septembre, vous pouvez vous inscrire au tarif préférentiel de 595 USD. TOUS LES PRIX SONT EN USD. Si vous payez dans une autre devise, la conversion se fait automatiquement à la caisse.
• Plans de paiement disponibles : vous pouvez vous inscrire avec un acompte de 50 % jusqu’au 7 octobre. CERTIFICAT

Annulations et remboursements

Si vous devez annuler votre inscription, vous pourriez avoir droit à un remboursement partiel, selon la durée de l’événement et sous réserve des conditions indiquées ci-dessous. Nous planifions le voyage et le temps de l’instructeur en fonction du nombre d’inscriptions plusieurs mois à l’avance; pour cette raison, nous ne pouvons pas offrir de remboursement complet.
Si vous devez annuler en raison d’un conflit, d’une urgence (y compris, mais sans s’y limiter, d’avoir le COVID) ou d’une autre raison, vous pouvez transférer votre inscription à une date de formation ultérieure en ligne ou en présentiel.
Si vous demandez un remboursement en espèces, le montant du remboursement dépend du temps restant jusqu’à l’événement. Pour les inscriptions « intégralement payé » (inscription tarif préférentiel ou inscription régulière), des frais de traitement de 15 $ seront déduits du remboursement. Par la suite, les remboursements sont effectués selon le calendrier suivant : 60 jours ou plus jusqu’à l’événement : 100 % ; 45-60 jours 75 % ; 30-45 jours : 50 % ; 15-29 jours : 25 % ; deux semaines ou moins jusqu’à l’événement : 0 $. Une demande de remboursement en espèces doit être faite dans les deux semaines suivant votre annulation. Sinon, vous recevrez le crédit de transfert décrit ci-dessus.
Dans le cas contraire, vous recevrez un crédit de transfert pour un futur atelier (le crédit expire dans un délai d’un an). Il y a des frais de transfert de 75 $. Toute personne qui annule dans la semaine suivant l’atelier, quelles que soient les circonstances, entrera automatiquement dans cette catégorie de transfert. Aucune exception.
Pour les dépôts d’inscription, aucun remboursement n’est accordé dans les 90 jours suivant l’événement.
Vous êtes autorisé à transférer votre inscription à quelqu’un d’autre. Il est de votre responsabilité d’identifier la personne et de prendre des dispositions financières directement avec elle.
Si un événement est annulé par GBT pour quelque raison que ce soit, un remboursement complet (sans frais de traitement) sera fourni.
Il n’y a AUCUNE EXCEPTION à cette politique de remboursement.
