One of the ways we keep the price lower is by separating out the cost to complete the certification process after the workshop. Message AF India WhatsAppL1 is an intensive two-day workshop where you’ll learn all 30 Level 1 moves, including regressions, progressions, and variations for all skill levels. You’ll explore how and when to use each movement individually, as well as how to link them together into flows of your own design.
EVENT LOCATION
Throughout the 2 day curriculum, you’ll learn the 6 components of Animal Flow, including Wrist Mobilizations; Activations; Traveling Forms; Form Specific Stretches; Switches and Transitions, and Flows.
Day one is focused on building the foundations of your Animal Flow practice. You’ll begin by learning the scientific, evidence-based benefits of Quadrupedal Movement Training along with the Four Pillars that the AF system is built upon. The movements covered in day one ranges from Activations to the “ABC’s” of Traveling Forms and finishes with an introduction to Switches & Transitions.
Day two systematically builds upon the movements that were taught in day one, with a strong emphasis on movement fluidity. The day begins with a series of full body mobilizing sequences known as Form Specific Stretches, followed by 4 categories of Switches & Transitions. The day concludes with a sample Flow known as the Beast Flow, where all the movements covered in the course come together. The focus of day two is not only on the proper execution of each movement, but includes flow design, the animal flow language and how to integrate the AF techniques into your clients programming.
Your registration includes everything you need to prepare for the workshop and complete the two-day event. Your registration covers:
- Access to the full library of instructional videos for all Level 1 movements, to download or stream online

- Eligibility to register for one of the weeklong Animal Flow Mentorships
If you would like to complete the test process after the workshop to become a Certified Animal Flow Instructor or Official Flowist, you will pay the 4333/INR ($50) fee at the time you submit your test. There are no annual renewal fees.
Both fitness professionals and non-professional fitness enthusiasts are welcome to attend the workshop. (See the following Certification Options section for the requirements to become a Certified AF Instructor)
- Attendees must be at least 18 years old.
- Individuals of all skill levels can participate. Prior experience with Animal Flow is not required.
- You should be physically fit enough to support your own bodyweight in quadrupedal positions (all fours) and be medically cleared to participate in physical activities.
Taking the Level 1 workshop is the first step toward becoming a Certified Animal Flow Instructor or Official Flowist.
CERTIFIED ANIMAL FLOW INSTRUCTORS
Fitness professionals are eligible to become Certified AF Instructors, allowing them to teach AF in personal training sessions or group fitness classes, and/or integrate it into other fitness programming. To become certified, participants must complete the test out process after the workshop and provide proof of credentials as a fitness, yoga or martial arts professional. The test out process includes submitting two videos that demonstrate specific areas of proficiency.
Students who complete the India L1 workshops will be a $50 test fee at the time they submit their test. The tests are due within 180 days after the workshop in order to avoid late fees.
If you have questions regarding whether your fitness professional credentials would qualify you to become certified, please email [email protected]. While credential types vary widely between regions and disciplines, we generally look for certifications or degrees in relevant fields (fitness, yoga, physical therapy, exercise science, martial arts) from accreditation organizations. We do not accept nutrition or life coaching certifications.
OFFICIAL FLOWIST
Non-professionals are welcome to take the course for their own benefit, though are not eligible to become a Certified AF Instructor without first attaining a qualifying fitness credential. These individuals can complete the test out process to attain the title of Official Flowist.
If someone has earned the title of Official Flowist and then goes on to attain a professional fitness credential, they can update their title to Certified Instructor.

If you need to cancel your workshop registration, you may be eligible for a partial refund, depending upon length of time until the event, according to the following terms. Workshops are planned based on the number of registrations several months in advance, so we cannot offer full refunds if you must cancel.
If an event is canceled by Animal Flow India for any reason, a full refund (with no processing fee) shall be provided.
Option 1: Participant Substitution
You can always transfer your registration to somebody else, although it is your responsibility to identify the individual and make any financial arrangements directly with them. Contact us to arrange having the other person attend in your place. There is no fee for this.
Option 2: Transfer Credit
You can transfer the full value of your registration to another workshop. Transfer credits expire after two years.
Anyone who cancels within two weeks of the workshop, under any circumstance, is not eligible for a cash refund, and will automatically fall under this transfer credit category.
Option 3: PARTIAL CASH REFUND
If you are requesting a cash refund, the amount of refund is dependent on the length of time until the event as listed below. Refund amount is based on the total workshop price, so if you have paid only the deposit the refund amount is pro-rated as noted.
A $20 processing is always deducted from any refund amount.
- 60 days or more until event: 100% of Total Price (or 100% of deposit)
- 45-60 days: 75% of Total Price (or 50% of deposit);
- 30-45 days: 50% of Total Price (or $0% of deposit);
- 15-29 days: 25% of Total Price (or 0% of deposit);
- Two weeks or less until the event: $0.
Requests for cash refunds (amounts based on the schedule above) must be made within two weeks of your cancellation. Otherwise, you will be provided with a transfer credit for a future workshop.
