Our mentorships take place in the top venues located in beautiful and exotic places around the world. You’ll have time to explore the nature and culture surrounding the retreat center.

LOCATION
Mar de Jade is a Yoga, Wellness & Vacation Retreat Center nestled between the tropical jungle and the pristine sandy beach of Chacala, México. The intimate venue offers a relaxing, supportive, and inspiring environment in a peaceful fishing village.
Accommodations include Ocean Luxury rooms, Garden and Guest rooms, and budget oriented shared loft spaces. All rooms are unique and offer different styles, views and characteristics. Choose between single, double or triple occupancy options.
Delicious buffet-style meals are served in the open-air dining room overlooking Chacala bay. Every dish is made from scratch using fresh ingredients from the venue’s own organic farm. Menus are inspired by traditional Mexican cuisine and international flavors, featuring fresh fish, seafood, and chicken, as well as vegetarian and vegan dishes.
A snack bar offers bread and homemade peanut butter and mango marmalade. Stop by the La Palapa bar to enjoy smoothies and fresh coconuts, as well as original cocktails, wine, and local artisanal beer and spirits.
Take a dip in the large swimming pool, wading pool, or Jacuzzi nestled amidst banana trees, bougainvillea flowers, and palm trees. Watch the sunset over the ocean from a reclining beach chair or take a nap in a hammock under the shade of the thatched-roof palapa. Step right onto Chacala Beach for swimming, paddle-boarding, or kayaking.
Three beautiful yoga shalas with gorgeous hardwood floors and views of the Pacific Ocean provide ample space for lots of Flow practice. And, of course, there is always the sandy beach!

GARDEN ROOMS
Garden rooms, decorated in unique and varying styles, boast a terrace overlooking the lush tropical vegetation.
Garden Rooms are either crafted in a Mexican style, with natural rock walls and hand painted mosaics; or with an airy Mediterranean feel with floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light and fresh breeze. Each room has a spacious en-suite bathroom with natural bath amenities.
Rooms have one king or two twin beds.

OCEAN ROOMS
The Ocean Rooms are decorated with rich textiles and custom made mahogany wood furniture, providing a sense of timeless Mexican elegance. Bright and airy, the rooms have floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening onto a private balcony with an ocean view. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with natural bath amenities.
Rooms are on high floors and require steps to climb.
Ocean rooms are available with king or two twin beds.

GUEST ROOMS
Guest Rooms are a simple yet comfortable option for one to two people, offering garden or jungle views. Decorated in bright and cheerful Mexican textiles and colors, they are cozy and well appointed. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with natural bath amenities.
Rooms are located on both ground level and third floors, either jungle or garden facing.
Single king and double twin bed occupancy are available.

LOFT ROOMS
Guest Rooms with Loft are a simple yet spacious option for 3 individuals to share a dorm configuration. Rooms are either facing the gardens or jungle.
The bottom level has a king bed or two twins and a bathroom; the loft is accessed by a spiral staircase and has two twin beds.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that you attain travel insurance upon booking your registration. You should seek travel insurance that covers your costs if you must cancel due to medical or covered emergency, as well as reimbursement for travel disruptions and coverage for medical emergencies.
Please review our cancellation policy carefully (below). We are not able to offer refunds outside of the timelines listed. This includes refunds when you must cancel due to medical or family emergencies, injuries, or any other reason. It is your responsibility to attain insurance that will cover you for unforeseen emergencies.
CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
We maintain a strict cancellation and refund policy for this event. Due to the fact that we must book and pay for the venue far in advance, we cannot make exceptions to these policies and deadlines. Please click the drop down box below to review the full schedule for attaining refunds.
REFUND POLICIES
- The first $250 of your deposit or payment in full is non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Refund amounts are based upon the TOTAL COST of the your room package. That means that if you are paying on a payment plan, the amount of eligible refund is based on the total cost of your room, and not just on the amounts paid so far. This is because payment plans are a loan from us while we pay the venue in full.
- Cancellations before April 20, 2025 are eligible for full refund (minus the $250 non-refundable portion of the deposit).
- Cancellations from April 20 to June 19 are eligible for 50% refund (minus the $250 non-refundable portion of deposit)
- Cancellations from June 20 to August 19 are eligible for 25% refund (minus the $250 non-refundable portion of deposit)
- Cancellations after August 19, 2025 are not eligible for any refund.
- The only exception to this schedule is if we are able to sell your spot to another individual, you will receive a 90% refund of your total room cost (minus the $250 non-refundable portion of the deposit). If you need to cancel and refer someone who takes your spot, we will provide the 90% refund to you.

Who is eligible to attend the Mentorship?
The Mentorship is open to anyone who has taken the Animal Flow Level 1 workshop. You are not required to have completed your Level 1 certification test, although it is recommended that you do so prior to the event (if you are eligible to become certified).
I want to attend, but I don’t anyone else who is going. Will I still have fun?
Yes! The majority of attendees come as individuals. You will make tons of friends. We will pair up roommates of same gender, unless you specify that you’d like to room with a specific person.
I’m not very advanced in my Animal Flow practice. Will I still get anything out of the Mentorship?
Absolutely! We design the program to accommodate people of all skill levels. Our goal is for everyone to leave being a little better than when they came in, no matter where they started.
Attendees usually include individuals brand new to Animal Flow, as well as people who have been practicing at advanced levels for many years. Everyone will learn at their own pace!
I would like to attend with my significant other sharing a room/bed. Can we receive a discount?
Prices listed are per-person, with options for single or double room occupancy. If you want to attend as a couple, you would just pay the price for double room occupancy, which is discounted from the single room option.
Can I get my own accommodations off-site and just attend the Mentorship activities?
All attendees must be staying on-site.
Can I get a refund if I cannot attend?
Please review the detailed Refunds and Cancellation policy in the COST section above. The first 50% of your deposit is not refundable. The balance of payments may be refundable according to the listed schedule, but the overall policy is strict.
We strongly suggest attaining Travel Insurance to cover your costs if you are unable to attend for an emergency reason.
What if my country experiences a surge in COVID-19 or any other emergency that prevents me from entering Indonesia/Bali?
We will not be able to refund you for a last minute cancellation for any reason. If we are still holding the retreat, but you cannot attend, you would need to seek reimbursement from your travel insurance company.
Can I register with a deposit? What are the payment terms?
You can hold your spot with a $500 deposit. You will then be charged 6 monthly installments to pay the balance, beginning December 1 (or the 1st of the month after you register if it is past December 1).
If you need to cancel, the first $250 of your deposit cannot be refunded for any reason.
How do I get to the venue?
Crete can be reached by plane or ferry.
By air: The resort is a 35-minute drive from Heraklion International Airport “Nikos Kazantzakis”. The airport is served by daily flights from Athens and other major European cities.
By port: The resort is a 40-minute drive from Heraklion Port, which offers connections to nearby islands.
