ANIMAL FLOW ADVANCED RETREAT COLORADO
May 31 – June 4, 2026

ADVANCED RETREAT
WINTER PARK, COLORADO
MAY 31 – JUNE 4, 2026
OUR INAUGURAL ADVANCED RETREAT
We’re planning something a little different with this event and we couldn’t be more excited.
SPRINGTIME IN THE MOUNTAINS
We’ll be at the stunning Snow Mountain Ranch in Winter Park, Colorado. Breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains, amazing wildlife, and clean mountain air will make this a trip you won’t forget.
COMMUNITY
We’ve rented three huge cabins which will accommodate 13 persons each. With communal kitchens, large shared living areas, and cozy outdoor fire pits, the cabins will provide the perfect environment for chilling with your fellow Flowists.
JUST FLOW
The agenda for the event is just flow, flow, flow. Mike Fitch will personally lead all of the practices. We’ll focus on flow design and performance, working on flows that incorporate advanced moves and transitions.
INTIMATE EVENT
Attendance is limited to 35 participants, ensuring each person can receive individual attention from Mike. Whether flowing in groups or hanging out in our cabins, you’ll have ample opportunity for quality time with everyone.
ADVANCED PRACTICE
We’ve designated this as an Advanced Retreat, meaning that we’ll assume you are ready to jump right in to working on flows with advanced moves and transitions.
Prerequisites to register include:
(1) You must have taken the L2 workshop. Certification is not required.
(2) You must be familiar with the L2 and L3 movements. This can through taking the L3 workshop and/or subscribing to AF OD.
(3) We strongly recommend reviewing the Advanced Transitions Course.
You do NOT need to have your Tuck and Float but you should be familiar with the steps to work toward them.
DETAILS

Stretched across a breathtaking 5,100 acres of rolling meadows, aspens, and spruce-filled forests, Snow Mountain Ranch pulses with energy and adventure. We’ll make the 2 hour drive from Denver into the Rocky Mountains for our epic flow escape.
We’ll probably see a moose.

We’ll stay in three large cabins built for retreat groups. Each cabin includes 8 en-suite bedrooms with single, double and triple occupancy options.
Cabins include full kitchens and spacious communal living areas. Indoor fireplaces and outdoor fire pits are also available.

Lunches and dinners will include a mix of catering in, buffets in the on-site dining hall, and a sojourn to the best BBQ restaurant in Colorado.
Breakfast will be available in your own cabin’s kitchen. We’ll provide the ingredients and you can prepare your own or cook as a group effort.

We’ll flow in the gigantic, airy Legget Ballroom, which has a perfect floor for our practice. It’s right next to the cabins, so we can hop back and forth all day and night.
ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE PLANNING
TRANSPORtATION
Snow Mountain Ranch is just past Winter Park and is a two drive from Denver.
We are organizing optional transport there and back. There will be a $65 fee (round trip) to join this transport option. Pickup will be at 10:00am Sunday from Body Practice Gym on East Colfax (that’s Mike’s gym). We’re departing early so we can get to flowing right away!
You can also arrange your own transport, including driving yourself or booking an Airport-Mountain shuttle (approximately $150 each way).
Arrival AND PRE-ACTIVITIES
To accommodate the early departure time on Sunday, we suggest arriving in Denver on Saturday (or earlier!). We can recommend places for you stay and will help coordinate attendees who want to share lodging.
All attendees are invited to a special session at Body Practice with Mike on Saturday (details to follow). We’ll also organize a group dinner in Denver Saturday evening.
DEPARTURE AND POST-ACTIVITIES
We’ll check out of Snow Mountain Ranch on Thursday morning. We’ll plan an optional mountain-based adventure for Thursday day. Depending on weather and group requests, this may include hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, boating on Grand Lake, or horse back riding.
Anyone participating in the optional activity would arrive back in Denver Thursday evening. You should thus plan on a late night flight, or a Friday morning flight.
Individuals who need to go directly back to the airport will be able to arrange transport with our assistance.
ROOMS

STANDARD CABIN ROOMS
Decorated with cozy mountain decor, the Standard Cabin Rooms comprise 7 of the 8 bedrooms in each cabin.
