DESCRIPTION:Rejoignez-nous pour la certification Animal Flow® Niveau 2 (L2)\, livrée en ligne via Zoom. La certification sera enseignée en française par Master Instructor Fréyja Spence. Afin de toujours garantir une bonne interaction entre les étudiants et avec Fréyja\, la participation est limitée à 28 personnes. La formation dure 6\,5 heures chaque jour\, à partir de 6h UTC-4 (fuseau horaire Montréal/Québec) / 12h UTC+2 (fuseau horaire français)\, et votre participation est nécessaire à temps plein les deux jours. \nCOMMENT PARTICIPER/EXIGENCES\nCette certification interactive sera livrée par la plateforme vidéoconférence Zoom: À tous temps\, les participants pourront voir et interagir avec l’instructeur\, et inversement. Un maximum de 28 étudiants seront admis\, encore une fois pour assurer que l’instructeur sera toujours en mesure de voir chaque participant et de faciliter une expérience fluide pour tous. \nPour participer sans problème\, vous devriez installer votre laptop/webcam dans un endroit où vous avez assez d’espace pour pratiquer les mouvements Animal Flow. Un salon est suffisant\, mais c’est possible que vous deviez écarter certains meubles pendant la durée de la certification. Le « Flow cinétique » final que vous apprendriez dans cette formation nécessite un peu plus d’espace que 3 mètres X 3 mètres. Si vous n’avez pas un signal WiFi fort chez vous\, nous vous déconseillons d’essayer de suivre cette formation en ligne. \nNous utiliserons la plateforme Zoom pour la certification : l’application Zoom est gratuite pour téléchargement en ligne. We are excited to invite you to join us in this epic new course\, taught in English\, by Animal Flow Creator Mike Fitch.  \nABOUT THE COURSE\nLevel 3 is designed to not only bring your own flow practice to another level\, but to also improve your knowledge of the science\, teaching methods\, and coaching qualities that make a Level 3 Instructor. \nCourse curriculum includes: \n\nDeep dive into the 4 Pillars of Animal Flow\nProgressive Tuck Balance training\nProgressive “Float” (Tuck Planche) training\nTons of new L3 movements\nAnatomy and biomechanics of Animal Flow\nWorking with ground reaction force\nAnimal Flow language and Call Out reviews\nBreath mobility\nCreating style through the exploration of the skeletal system\nFree Flow\nAdvanced Coaching\n\nThe L3 workshop includes supplemental work before and after the workshop. You’ll be able to work through a lot of this at your own pace. We’ll have a private Facebook group for students prior to the workshop\, which you’ll gain immediate access to upon registration. In that group you’ll find 8 assignments to help you prepare for the day of the workshop. By the time you get to the day of the course\, you’ll already be well into your L3 preparation! After the course\, we have another private support group where you can interact with all your fellow Flowists who are preparing their L3 test. \nPRE-REQUISITES\nYou MUST have attended a Level 2 Animal Flow workshop PRIOR to taking L3. SUMMARY:Animal Flow Level 2 London (Aug)
DESCRIPTION:Take your Animal Flow practice to a higher level of understanding at the Level 2 from August 3-4\, 2024. The two-day event is 6.5 hours each day\, from 10am to 4:30pm\, on Saturday and Sunday. It will take place at the London School of Capoeira\, in London. This workshop will be taught in English by Master Instructor Richard Scrivener. The Level 2 workshop is open to anyone who has taken Level 1. \nABOUT LEVEL 2\nBuilding upon the strong foundations learned in Level 1\, Level 2 teaches 10 more new moves\, as well as progressions for hand balancing. You’ll delve into more advanced concepts like energy transfers\, tempo changes and using animal locomotion in flows\, while engaging in intermediate level flow design. Read more about the LEVEL 2 WORKSHOP HERE. \nParticipants will learn how to successfully perform the Level 2 exercises\, as well as how to correctly integrate the movements with Level 1 to create extended Flows with an increased degree of complexity and intensity. Participants also learn how to instruct the movements and incorporate them into a training program. Emphasis is placed on understanding how the Level 2 movements train the fascial slings of the body; understanding the role of dissipating force\, fluidity\, and leverage in the advanced movements; and understanding how to instruct a range of progressive drills and conditioning exercises that form the introduction to hand balancing practice. \nThe full-day agenda includes: \n\nReview of key Level 1 moves\nIntro to Hand Balancing: Tuck Balance Progressions\nNew Transitions: Reaching Underswitch; Reaching Underswitch to Deep Ape; Scorpion Sweeps; Roll Throughs; and Crocodile Rolls\, Pop Switches and Pop Outs;\nNew Traveling forms: Bear\, Leopard\, Crocodile;\nUsing traveling forms as a “link” for switches and transitions;\nHow and why to introduce tempo change and energy redirects into a flow;\nIntermediate flow design\n\nLevel 2 Continuing Education\nParticipants are eligible to receive Continuing Education credits from National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) – .9 CE; American Fitness Association of America (AFAA) – 9 CEUs; American Council on Exercise (ACE) – 1 CEC. \nELIGIBILITY\nTo enroll in Level 2\, you must have already taken the Level 1 workshop at least 30 days prior to the date of the L2 workshop.
